Hello Medina Band Families,
We are excited to share the preliminary schedule for the 2026 Medina Musical Bees Marching Band season. This message is going to every member of our Medina Band community. Current marching families, upcoming 8th grade families, and our high school families whose students did not march this year are all included. Every year we welcome new students who discover that marching band is the most unforgettable part of their high school experience. We hope many of them will join us on the field in 2026.

The full schedule is attached. Please remember that these dates are preliminary, although we do our best to release them early so families can plan confidently. The school calendar and football schedule have provided enough structure for us to outline rehearsals, band camp dates, and performances.
A few important notes for planning. Band camp and required summer rehearsals are the foundation of our season, and all members are expected to be present. Families often begin making summer travel plans during the winter months, which is why we work hard to communicate early. We want every student who is excited about marching band to have the opportunity to participate without conflict.
To our current marchers. Thank you for everything you brought to the program this past marching season. Your spirit, leadership, and work ethic set the tone for what shaped up to be another spectacular season.
To our upcoming 8th grade families. We cannot wait to welcome you into the Musical Bee Hive. Marching band is an incredible way to enter high school with instant community, lifelong friendships, and a sense of pride that comes from performing at a very high level. You are going to love the journey.
To our high school band members who did not march this past season. Every year we get a number of students who join marching band later in their high school career. We would love to have you with us next year. We know that you would have an enjoyable experience.
